*=> 221101 <=* Authority, Responsibility, Abortion

An elder told me, “If authority and responsibility are tightly linked most major problems will be avoided. If someone has the authority and someone else has the responsibility, then problems will always develop.”

As an example, when the US Government drafted people to serve in the armed services, it assumed the responsibility to feed and house them and if they should be wounded then it would provide medical care and if they should die then it would provide for that person’s family.

This is also true for licensing highway driving. The state doesn’t grant a license until a driver passes a knowledge and skills test and requires a driver to have auto insurance. Only then may a person legally drive. The state has the authority and responsibility to properly train drivers before they endanger society.

To the best of my knowledge, very few politicians are experts in medicine, home economics, family relations or religion, but they take it upon themselves to make decisions in these area for all citizens of their state. They took the authority but avoid all responsibilities resulting from their decisions.

Some state politicians decided to ban all abortions no matter the situation of a family, women or girl. Questions about the age of the girl, incest and rape didn’t enter their brain. Family health and financial condition wasn’t their concern. Politicians took the authority and you have the choice to become a criminal or assume full responsibility for raising the baby.

Texas is a common example of how some politicians want to control women, but don’t give a damn about children. Not a good example of Christian love.

Approximately 15% of clinically known pregnancies end in miscarriage; however, 30-60% of all pregnancies will end in the first 12 weeks often even before the women knows she’s pregnant.

Miscarriages are often conflated with induced abortions in the news and law. There is a long history when a pregnant woman has been made a criminal for losing her baby.

Abortion is a good example where politicians don’t represent their voters, but impose their beliefs upon others.

This is a time to quit voting for these authoritative politicians, be they Independent, Democrat, Republican or Trumplican and this may be our last opportunity to do so.
