After American banks refused to loan additional money to Trump, he went to Deutsche Bank in Germany that was anxious to get into the American market. He got a loan for several hundred million dollars, but since he did not have sufficient collateral, he needed someone to secure the loan. Russia offered their services, thus Trump was indebted to Putin who could withdraw whenever he wanted. This would require Trump to pay back the loan immediately or default. For only a few hundred million, Putin could strongly suggest what Trump should do. Nice deal for Putin but not America.
Yes, there are some who are somewhere in between but eventually they must decide if they are for conspiracies, threats and violence or facts, the Constitution and democracy. There will be a few too fearful to make that decision.
