It’s the end of this year. In case you forgot. Next year I’ll have my fresh squeezed lemon juice for breakfast to put that smile back on.
I wish I still had that gift, but experience has made me cynical of my own talents.

Covid has deprived us of over two years of social interactions with those we like and those we dislike. During that lack of contact we lost some of our social skills and civility.
Religion plays a big part in many people’s lives. It keeps some sane. Some say that religion and science are always in conflict. I don’t believe that. They just try to answer different questions.

Science will never prove the existence or absence of God because science can only describe a reality that can be tested and measured. Science never asks why a number, value or fact exist. It just shows it to be true. Science is never absolutely certain, but only described reality as accurately as possible.
Religion addresses “Who started it all” , “Why bad and good happens” and provides hope.
Religions resemble trees in many ways. Different religions arise in very different climates. Pines can grow in frigid areas. Deciduous trees in moderate areas and tropical trees in warm climes. They look very different, but they all deduce dangerous carbon dioxide levels and provide oxygen for life.
