Some “fake news” media have accused Tucker Carlson of being a traitor. He is a well known conservative spokesman on FOX News. He is well educated, hangs in a high-flying circle of influential people and makes no secret that he has family money. His known, estimated wealth is around $30 million and FOX pays him $6 million for his show. He’s outspoken and a successful author.
With that as background I ask myself, why is this man a Putin supporter? Mr. Carlson wants to make America great again, so I’m sure he would not willingly damage America, but his shows are routinely rebroadcast in Moscow for Russians to watch. Is it true that Mr. Carlson’s shows are rebroadcast in Russia?

Russians claim that he supports Putin’s “operations” in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is threatening to become a wider war in Europe and possible World War III with nuclear weapons. Many news outlets are presenting the same story. Why would Moscow rebroadcast Mr. Carlson’s shows unless they were good propaganda for Putin’s war?
Mr. Carlson already has money, so I doubt that he could be bribed to praise Russia. Mr. Carlson has a good head on his shoulders, so he is definitely, not stupid. He must see the human tragedy in Ukraine, the bodies, crying mothers, frightened children, bombs destroying building and killing people. I’m sure Mr. Carlson has empathy for the suffering Ukrainian people. So why is Mr. Carlson supporting the Russian destruction of Ukraine?
We know that the Russians are excellent cyber criminals, spies and network hackers. The Russians got into Hillary’s emails, Democratic Headquarters, our Federal State Department, even the Pentagon. Putin can learn much by looking through our emails, with his agents infesting our country and looking for “dirt” on influential politicians, writers and TV personalities.
Putin was trained as a Soviet Intelligence officer to have no ethics except to win at any cost.
If you are having an affair, if you are gay in a conservative community, if you watch child pornography, if you are using drugs and Putin has the information that would destroy your career and life. What would you do?
Could Russian blackmail explain Mr. Carlson’s support for Russia? Maybe someone should ask him to eliminate blackmail as a possible explanation for his support of Putin.
If it’s not bribery, stupidity, lack of empathy or black mail what is the cause?
